| Shares of FedEx (FDX) took off in after-hours trading, jumping roughly 9% after the company delivered very impressive Q3 results that didn't just meet expectations but exceeded them. 📦✨ | Adjusted earnings per share came in at $5.25, well above the $4.09 analysts were expecting. Revenue, meanwhile, landed at $24 billion, also ahead of forecasts of $23.43 billion. Not bad for a company that's been restructuring on the DL. | Profitability told an even stronger story. Adjusted operating income reached $1.68 billion, beating estimates of $1.39 billion, while net income climbed to $1.06 billion from $909 million a year earlier. 📈 | Experts see this as very clean, efficient growth — AKA not just pumping numbers up to look good on paper.📄 | And as a cherry on top, FedEx also raised its guidance for the rest of the year. | The company now expects revenue growth between 6% and 6.5%, slightly ahead of market expectations. Even more telling, adjusted EPS guidance jumped to a range of $19.30 to $20.10, up from the previous $17.80 to $19. Call it a very, very confident move. 🚀 | From behind the scenes, analysts are crediting FedEx's "Network 2.0" initiative — a mix of automation, AI, and operational streamlining. It is now expected to generate more than $1 billion in savings. And it's clearly working. 🤖 | There's also a structural shift coming. The planned spinoff of FedEx Freight is still on track for June 1, which could unlock additional shareholder value.💰 | Of course, it's not all smooth sailing, as the company did admit that the ongoing Iran conflict is gonna cause a few irrupts.
