At GTC 2026, the world's biggest AI conference, Jensen Huang dropped a bombshell: |
| ❝ |
| |
"Every SaaS company will become an AaaS - Agent-as-a-Service - company." |
|
|
|
|
He also said employees of the future will be "supercharged by teams of AI agents they deploy and manage", and that 80% of traditional software applications will disappear in the AI factory era.
Most investors heard that and thought: "How do I buy more NVIDIA?"
The smarter question is: "Who already built what Jensen just described?"
Immersed did.
|
Curator: an AI agent that learns your habits and workflow, and acts. Live. In beta now.
Visor: the spatial computer where those agents operate. Already shipping.
1.5M+ users on Apple, Meta, and Samsung platforms
NYSE debut with CNBC's Jon Najarian already on tape
Backed by Intel's former CEO, SailPoint’s founder, and Tim Tebow
|
Jensen told the world what the future looks like yesterday.
Immersed is raising at $0.79/share today.

THE STORY THIS WEEKEND: THE 20% OIL DROP HIDES ONE BIG CATCH |
This is the part of the Iran story where the numbers finally start moving your way — with one important asterisk. |
Oil has now fallen nearly 20% from its 2026 peak. Brent sits around $92.56, and crude just logged its worst month since the COVID-19 pandemic, down roughly 19% in May alone. The reason is the tentative U.S.-Iran ceasefire: both sides are reported to have "mostly agreed" on a 60-day memorandum of understanding to extend the truce and ease shipping restrictions through the Strait of Hormuz. After three months of war premium hanging over every gas pump and every grocery bill, a 20% drop in oil is real relief heading into summer. |
Now the asterisk, because it matters. The deal still needs President Trump's sign-off — it is not signed. And the physical reality on the ground has not caught up to the optimism in the price. Strikes continued as recently as Thursday, with Iranian forces reportedly firing ballistic missiles toward Kuwait and sending drones toward the Strait. More tellingly, the analysts at UBS note there is still "little evidence" of any actual improvement in vessel traffic: Iranian crude loadings in May remain below 0.3 million barrels a day, down sharply from 1.5 million in April and 1.7 million in March. In plain English: the paper market is pricing peace, but the tankers still aren't moving. That's the gap to watch. |
For a retiree, this is genuinely encouraging news that still calls for a steady hand. Lower oil means lower inflation pressure, easier gas prices, and a stock market that has run to record highs on the relief. If the deal gets signed and tankers actually start moving, all of that has room to continue. But "mostly agreed" and "awaiting sign-off" are the same words that preceded six earlier collapses, and the real-world tanker data says the crisis isn't physically over yet. Enjoy the lower prices at the pump this weekend. Just don't rearrange your whole portfolio around a signature that hasn't happened and a strait that, by the numbers, is still effectively closed. |

THE SECOND STORY: WHAT JENSEN HUANG ACTUALLY SAID THIS WEEK |
Lost in the Iran headlines this week was a comment that may matter more to the next decade of investing than any ceasefire. |
At GTC 2026 — the giant AI conference Nvidia hosts — CEO Jensen Huang made a striking prediction: that the software industry as we know it is about to be rebuilt around AI "agents," little autonomous programs that do tasks for you rather than waiting for you to click buttons. He went as far as to say a large share of traditional software applications will eventually be replaced in what he called the "AI factory era." Whether or not his exact numbers prove right, the direction is the part worth absorbing: the AI story is shifting from "chatbots that answer questions" to "agents that take actions." |
Here's why that matters to a retiree's portfolio, in plain English. For three years, the entire AI trade has essentially been "buy Nvidia and the companies that buy Nvidia's chips." Huang is now describing a second wave — the software and devices that sit on top of all that chip power and actually do useful work for ordinary people and businesses. History says the second wave creates its own set of winners, often different from the first. When the internet was young, the winners shifted from the companies that laid the cable to the companies that built what ran on it. You don't need to chase any single name. But it's worth understanding that the AI conversation is moving up the stack — from the chips, to the agents and devices built on them. One of this weekend's partners is positioned around exactly that shift. |
🔒 OBBBA Rule Watch — Tax Rule of the Weekend
RMD Timing Under the Permanent TCJA Brackets: The "Two Withdrawals" Trap in Year One
If you turned 73 this year and must start taking Required Minimum Distributions, there's a timing quirk worth knowing. The IRS lets you delay your very first RMD until April 1 of the following year — which sounds like a nice break. But here's the trap: if you wait, you'll be forced to take two RMDs in that second year (the delayed first one, plus the regular second one), stacking both into a single year's taxable income. Under the now-permanent OBBBA tax brackets, that stacked income can push you into a higher bracket, raise your Medicare premiums, and increase how much of your Social Security gets taxed. For most retirees, taking your first RMD in the year you turn 73 — rather than delaying it — spreads the income out and keeps you in a lower bracket. The delay option helps only in specific situations, such as a year you expect unusually low income.
Why it matters: The "delay your first RMD" option is marketed as a perk, but for most retirees it backfires by doubling up income in year two. Run the two-year math with your advisor before choosing to delay.

|
Three things to carry into next week. First, the 20% drop in oil is real and genuinely good for your cost of living — but the deal behind it still isn't signed, and the tanker data says the strait is effectively still closed. Cautious relief, not celebration. Second, the stock market is now priced for the deal to go through; if it holds you have plenty of time to participate, and if it slips, patience will have protected you. Third, look past the war headlines to the slower story underneath: the AI trade is quietly shifting from chips to the agents and devices built on them, and that shift will outlast any single ceasefire. Enjoy the weekend and the cheaper gas — we'll see you next week. |
