Andy Staples ranked the ACC's top 10 quarterbacks entering 2026, and it's a wide-open field after an offseason full of QB movement across the league.
3. Kevin Jennings, SMU
Jennings has been one of the ACC's most consistent winners since taking over as SMU's starter in 2024, throwing for 3,641 yards and 26 touchdowns last season. He told reporters at the Manning Passing Academy he battled an ankle injury for much of the year, which could mean an even more dangerous, dual-threat version of Jennings in 2026.
4. C.J. Bailey, N.C. State
Bailey threw for 3,105 yards and 25 touchdowns in his first full season as a starter, and keeping him was non-negotiable for coach Dave Doeren after the Wolfpack lost its top rusher and receiver in the portal. Doeren didn't leave Bailey without familiar faces, though, reuniting him with a pair of childhood friends from South Florida.
9. Christopher Vizzina, Clemson
Vizzina waited his turn behind Cade Klubnik, and after tossing for 317 yards and three touchdowns in relief last season, he's set to open 2026 as Clemson's starter. He'll need to hold off a talented freshman early, though, in a season that kicks off with a trip to LSU.
Where do other high-powered QBs like Darian Mensah, Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele, and Mason Heintschel land? Staples has the full rankings below.
