Take A Look At SBFM While It’s Still Early…

August 4, 2026

Dear Reader,

The report went out last night.

Now it is Tuesday morning and the bell rings in less than 90 minutes.

Sunshine Biopharma Inc. (NASDAQ: SBFM) has not moved off the top of the watchlist.

The reason is straightforward.

A company below $5M in market cap has spent the past ten weeks stacking a peer-reviewed publication in the Journal of Medicinal Chemistry, a formally granted U.S. patent covering its PLpro inhibitor technology, and three Health Canada approvals through Nora Pharma — Rivaroxaban, Anastrozole, and Ondansetron — all while reporting $36.3M in 2025 revenue.

That combination does not show up often at this market cap level.

Add a public float under 500K shares and the setup heading into this morning's open is one worth having on the screen.

Less than 90 minutes to the bell. The full report from last night is below for anyone who missed it.

But keep in mind, SBFM has less than 500K shares listed as available to the public right now. When companies have small floats like this, the potential exists for big moves if demand begins to shift.

Health Canada granted approval for generic Anastrozole (Arimidex equivalent) on June 25, 2026, and for generic Ondansetron (Zofran equivalent) on July 28, 2026, each adding a commercially meaningful prescription category to the Nora Pharma distribution network.

Anastrozole enters the breast cancer therapy segment; Ondansetron targets chemotherapy-related nausea and vomiting, a market projected to reach $4.86B by 2032.

Full-year 2025 revenue came in at $36.3M, a 4.1% increase over 2024, with gross pro-fit rising to $12.26M.

Nine new generic products launched during the year. Management highlighted targeted cost reductions of $2M–$3M in 2026 expenses following January restructuring.

About Sunshine Biopharma Inc. (NASDAQ: SBFM)

Sunshine Biopharma operates across two business lines that, taken together, reflect a dual-engine commercial model: a revenue-generating Canadian generics platform and an earlier-stage proprietary dr-ug development program targeting oncology and infectious disease.

The commercial foundation is built through its wholly owned Canadian subsidiary, Nora Pharma Inc., which currently markets 60 generic prescription dr-ugs across Canada in cardiovascular health, central nervous system disorders, oncology, antimicrobials, endocrinology, and gastroenterology.

With 12 additional generic products planned for 2026 launches and a robust Health Canada regulatory pipeline, Nora Pharma provides Sunshine Biopharma with real, recurring revenue in Canada's generic dr-ugs market — a segment projected to grow from $9.4B to $19.2B by 2032 according to the company.

The proprietary pipeline runs alongside the generics business. K1.1 mRNA is an mRNA-Lipid Nanoparticle therapeutic candidate targeting human hepatocellular carcinoma (liver cancer), representing one of the more technically ambitious programs in the company's development portfolio.

Separately, SBFM-PL4 (now carrying the clinical compound designation MR1-114) is a small-molecule PLpro protease inhibitor being developed as a potential antivi-ral therapeutic. The program remains in the pre-clinical stage.

Both remain pre-clinical, and advancement timelines carry inherent uncertainty.

A second wholly owned subsidiary, Sunshine Biopharma Canada Inc., handles development and commercialization of over-the-counter nutritional supplements.

Generic Pharmaceuticals and Antivi-ral Therapeutics

Two structural forces shape Sunshine Biopharma’s competitive context: the continued expansion of the global generic pharmaceutical market and the ongoing demand for next-generation antivi-ral treatments addressing serious respiratory infections.

Canada's pharmaceutical market ranks eighth globally by size, and its generic dr-ug segment is at an inflection point.

The country's aging population, rising per-capita healthcare expenditures, and government policy favoring generic substitution have pushed sustained tailwinds through the sector.

Cardiovascular generics in particular are a high-value category.

The global Rivaroxaban market alone is projected to reach $30.5B by 2035, up from approximately $12.7B in 2026, per data cited in company filings — reflecting the long commercial runway for established anticoagulation therapies facing patent cliffs on brand-name equivalents.

Sunshine Biopharma is positioned directly into this category through its recently approved Rivaroxaban generic, with Nora Pharma shipments targeted for October 2026.

Anastrozole adds a second high-value dimension. The global market for this breast cancer aromatase inhibitor is projected to reach $2.53B by 2034, growing at a 7.97% CAGR from $1.27B in 2025, per The Insight Partners data cited by the company.

Standard adjuvant therapy for hormone receptor-positive breast cancer in postmenopausal women is a durable, recurring prescription category, not a speculative niche.

On the antivi-ral side, PLpro inhibition has attracted growing scientific attention because the enzyme plays a role in helping certain vir-uses evade the body's natural immune defenses.

Researchers view the mechanism as a promising target because it focuses on restoring immune function alongside limiting vi-ral activity. The July 2026 Journal of Medicinal Chemistry publication validates the SBFM approach in peer-reviewed form and elevates MR1-114 above typical preclinical noise.

Hepatocellular carcinoma is the third-leading cause of cancer-related deaths worldwide, while mRNA-LNP delivery continues to gain attention as a platform for transporting therapeutic payloads directly to targeted cells.

7 Reasons Why SBFM Is Topping This Morning’s Watchlist

—Tuesday, August 4, 2026…

1. Less Than 500K Shares: SBFM has fewer than 500K shares listed as available to the public, a share structure that can experience larger price swings if demand begins to change.

3. Patent Granted: SBFM secured U.S. Patent No. 12,624,066 B2 covering its novel PLpro technology, with the program now cleared to advance into GLP studies before clinical trials.

4. Three Approvals: SBFM received Health Canada approvals for Rivaroxaban, Anastrozole, and Ondansetron within about two months, expanding the Nora Pharma commercial portfolio.

5. Commercial Foundation: SBFM reported $36.3M in 2025 revenue through Nora Pharma while continuing to expand its generic pharmaceutical business.

6. Active Pipeline: SBFM is advancing proprietary oncology and anti-vi-ral programs alongside 12 additional generic product launches planned for 2026.

7.Potential Catalyst Timeline: Since May, SBFM has announced patent protection, peer-reviewed research, regulatory approvals, and additional commercial milestones heading into the remainder of 2026.

Take A Look At SBFM While It’s Still Early…

Sunshine Biopharma presents a layered story that does not fit cleanly into a single category. The generics business through Nora Pharma is generating real revenue and clearing regulatory milestones at a measured pace.

What is harder to dismiss is the timing: a freshly issued U.S. patent, a peer-reviewed publication validating the lead compound, and two new Health Canada approvals, all within the past six weeks.

We have all eyes on (SBFM) this morning. Pull up (SBFM) while it’s still early.

Also, keep a look out for my next update.
