August 18, 2026
Dear Reader,
There’s a fresh reason to have ZENA on the radar heading into the open. A major shift in U.S. drone policy has created a new backdrop for domestic manufacturers just as attention around the company is building.
The White House just changed the rules for every drone company in the country.
A Presidential Proclamation signed August 13, 2026 now imposes Section 232 tariffs of up to 100% on imported drones and components.
Foreign competitors — particularly those relying on Chinese manufacturing — just got hit with a cost structure that makes them non-competitive overnight.
And ZenaTech, Inc. (Nasdaq: ZENA) was already building on the right side of that line.
Here's how the math works.
Larger drones over 25 kilograms? Up to 100% tariff if they're imported.
Smaller foreign drones? 25% minimum.
ZenaTech's U.S.-made platforms and Taiwan-sourced components through its Spider Vision Sensors subsidiary? No more than 15% — preferential treatment confirmed.
That's an 85-point cost gap.
Competitors can't close that without rebuilding their entire supply chain.
In the last two weeks alone, ZENA has made an approx. 80% move, from around $1.25 on August 3 to $2.26 on August 14.
Now here's what you should pay attention to on the analyst side.

Two independent firms have bullish targets on ZENA right now.
Barry M. Sine, CFA, CMT at Litchfield Hills Research has a $4 target. Matthew Galinko at Maxim Group has a $5 target.
With ZENA recently trending near $2.05 per Barchart, those targets suggest potential upside of over 90% and over 140%, respectively.
The numbers underneath are just as direct. ZenaTech posted a 640% year-over-year revenue increase in Q1 2026.
Full-year 2025 came in with 558% year-over-year growth.
By late June 2026, the company was running at an annualized revenue pace of approximately CAD $33M.
This is a domestic drone maker.
With a defense pipeline.
With analyst coverage.
With a tariff wall just built around it.
That's why ZENA is at the top of our watchlist this morning — Tuesday, August 18, 2026.
What Does (ZENA) Actually Do?
ZenaTech, Inc. runs four lines of business: AI drone manufacturing through its ZenaDrone subsidiary, a Drone as a Service (DaaS) platform, an enterprise SaaS division, and a Quantum Computing initiative.
The drone side is where the defense story lives.
ZenaDrone makes the ZenaDrone 1000 — used for crop management and defense field cargo.

The IQ Nano handles indoor inventory and security. The IQ Square is built for outdoor inspection and power washing. The IQ Quad is a land survey platform.
Two platforms are being developed for defense: the ZenaDrone 2000 heavy-lift gas-powered interceptor — advancing toward flight testing — and the Interceptor P-1, a single-use autonomous interceptor priced under $5K that's in active testing right now.
The DaaS side is where the revenue is coming from.
ZenaTech has closed 27 acquisitions — land survey firms, geospatial companies, oil and gas inspection services, construction monitoring, and power washing networks across the U.S., Canada, and internationally.
More signed offers are expected to add approximately C$40M in revenue within 12 months of closing.
That's a recurring revenue base being assembled through execution, not projection.
The SaaS division includes NOW Solutions Inc. for government workforce management and the newly launched Zoo Office AI productivity platform.
On the manufacturing side, the Taiwan-based Spider Vision Sensors facility produces NDAA-compliant drone components.
ZenaDrone's primary U.S. manufacturing is in Arizona, with a Washington, D.C.-area office driving defense sales engagement.
Why This Matters Right Now

You need to understand what's happening in the drone policy environment to see why this is the right time to be looking at (ZENA).
It's not just one tariff.
The Section 232 proclamation sits on top of a stack of policy moves that all point in the same direction.
The Secretary of Defense's "Unleashing U.S. Military Drone Dominance" memo.
The One Big Beautiful Bill — which put $33B toward drone and autonomy programs.
Executive orders pushing federal procurement toward NDAA-compliant domestic platforms.
These didn't happen all at once.
They've been building.
The August 13 tariff action is the hard wall at the end of that runway.
ZenaTech is already moving through the Blue UAS certification process for four of its drone platforms — the ZenaDrone 1000, IQ Square, IQ Nano, and IQ Quad.
In-house PCB flight testing started in August 2026. Spider Vision Sensors in Taiwan supplies components at the 15% max preferential rate.
That's the NDAA-compliant supply chain that defense procurement now requires.
Beyond defense, the DaaS market adds real scale.
The U.S. surveying and mapping space is approximately $36B. Oil and gas drone inspection — one of ZenaTech's active verticals — is growing at over 28% annually.
ZenaTech's acquisition strategy rolls these traditional service businesses up into a drone-powered, data-driven platform that captures higher margins at each company it brings in.
And the counter-drone market — where ZenaTech's Interceptor P-1 and ZenaDrone 2000 compete — is cited by management at a $20B addressable size.

Testing is underway. U.S. government defense demonstrations are being scheduled.
The Ukraine operations through Phoenix Aero LLC in Lviv give live-conflict validation that commercial demonstration environments can't replicate.
ZENA was added to the Russell 3000 Index in June 2026. Two analysts carry Bullish targets.
Both targets were set before the tariff wall went up.

Take A Look At ZENA While It’s Still Early…

Think about what changed a few days ago.
The government just made it structurally expensive to buy foreign drones in the U.S. That's not a narrative — that's policy. And ZenaTech didn't pivot to take advantage of it.
The U.S. manufacturing was already there.
The Taiwan supply chain was already NDAA-compliant. The defense engagement was already happening. The revenue was already growing at a pace that most names at this level never reach.
You've got two analysts who looked at this name before the tariff action and still liked it enough to put Bullish targets on it.
Now the policy environment has moved in ZENA's direction. That's worth putting on your radar this morning.
Pull up ZENA while it’s still early.
More to come very shortly.
