We were together through all of it. That's the whole reason we do this.
We started CLEARSTEM 9 years ago, after both struggling with severe acne and having nowhere to turn. No brand really understood what it was like. We dealt with the barrier destruction, the nonstop peeling, the scars, and all the side effects from our acne products. Plus, the turmoil of new breakouts caused by anti-aging products clogging our pores. The tears and rage of living in that hard spot, wishing there was a solution, became the fuel for the beautiful fire that is now CLEARSTEM.
Danielle "The Acne Guru®" had tried literally everything under the sun (and 3 rounds of Accutane) before going deep on root causes, becoming a Licensed Esthetician, and opening up San Diego Acne Clinic. Kayleigh, an Integrative Health Practitioner, walked in as a client with debilitating cystic acne and got completely clear just 2 months later. That's how this all really started.
We built what we wished had existed. A skincare line for both acne + aging, root-cause education, and a free pore-clogging ingredient checker.
