Pull Up (INBS) While It’s Still Early…

September 1, 2026

Dear Reader,

As the countdown to Tuesday’s session begins, (Nasdaq: INBS) is moving back onto the screen with several important pieces lining up at once.

Krypton Street continues to watch for companies where emerging technology, large end markets, and a tight share structure come together in a way that can quickly draw attention.

Intelligent Bio Solutions Inc. (Nasdaq: INBS) checks every one of those boxes right now.

This is a medtech company with a proprietary fingerprint-based dr-ug screening system that collects sweat samples in seconds and delivers results in under ten minutes. No urine cups, no oral swabs, no lab queues, no specialist technicians. The system works at the point of collection — on a job site, at a warehouse gate, at a mine entrance — and the company just reported 38% full-year revenue growth with gross margins approaching 49%.

But the real reason our team is bringing this name to the community today is what's happening on the regulatory side…

All clinical data collection across the company's FDA 510(k) study program is now complete, and the submission is on track for the second half of calendar 2026.

If clearance comes through, it could open the door to the largest dr-ug screening market in the world — and with a float this tight, our community needs to understand the mechanics before that potential catalyst arrives.

Intelligent Bio Solutions Inc. (Nasdaq: INBS) is topping our watchlist this morning—Tuesday, September 1, 2026.

According to Yahoo Finance, (Nasdaq: INBS) has a float less than 3M listed as available to the public—with a float that small, the potential exists for big moves if demand begins to shift.

In August alone, INBS made an approx. 102% move from around $1.72 on 8/04/2026 to $3.49 on 8/17/2026, according to Barchart.

How This Technology Actually Works

Let's break down what our community is looking at here.

The Intelligent Fingerprinting Dr-ug Screening System uses fingerprint sweat analysis — a proprietary, non-invasive approach — to screen for recent use of op-ia-tes, co-ca-ine, me-tham-pheta-mine, and can-na-bis. A donor presses a fingertip onto a cartridge, the reader device processes the sample, and results come back at the point of collection.

Sample collection takes seconds.

Results in under ten minutes.

No bodily fluids collected in the traditional sense.

Think about what that means for a construction foreman or a logistics manager who needs to screen a crew before the shift starts…

No clinic visit. No waiting room. No chain-of-custody paperwork bouncing between a job site and an off-site lab. The entire workflow stays on-site, stays fast, and stays simple.

We've seen how innovation in other testing categories — glucose monitoring, rapid antigen testing — reshaped entire markets once the technology became portable and accessible. The same dynamics could apply here, and the company is building the commercial infrastructure to capture that shift.

The company's usability study, completed in August 2026, confirmed that operators with no specialist background could be trained to administer the system effectively. Fifteen operators participated, and the outcome showed this is a tool built for workplace safety personnel, not laboratory professionals. Peter Passaris, Vice President of Product Development, noted that the simpler and more reliable the screening process, the stronger the company's position in the market.

That matters because the sectors driving demand — construction, manufacturing, transport and logistics, mining — are exactly the environments where sending workers off-site for dr-ug testing creates cost, delay, and operational friction…

Intelligent Bio Solutions Inc. (Nasdaq: INBS) already serves 502 active customers across the UK, Europe, APAC, and the Middle East.

Its reader installed base has grown 22% year-over-year to 1,886 units, and each reader placed in the field generates recurring demand for consumable cartridges — a razor-razorblade revenue model where cartridge consumption grew 35% year-over-year to 106,500 units, outpacing the installed base growth rate.

That pattern — faster cartridge growth than hardware growth — tells our community that existing customers are using the system more, not less. That's recurring revenue accelerating, and it's the metric that matters most when evaluating whether a razor-razorblade model is scaling the way it should.

The company also recently secured its eighth European patent grant, further protecting its proprietary fingerprint screening technology.

The FDA Program Our Community Should Understand

Here's where the potential catalyst comes into focus…

The company has now completed a structured, multi-study clinical and technical program supporting its FDA 510(k) submission — the regulatory gateway to the U.S. dr-ug screening market, the largest on earth. Our community should understand the scope of what was accomplished, because each study adds a layer of evidence to the submission package.

Precision testing confirmed reproducibility across more than 1,600 tests, three production runs, and three independent sites — demonstrating that results stay consistent regardless of where or how the system is manufactured and operated.

An interference study evaluated whether everyday contaminants — hand creams, oils, dirt, water — affect accuracy under real-world field conditions. This is the kind of field-readiness data that separates a concept from a deployable tool.

A method comparison study enrolled 135 participants across three independent U.S. clinical sites, measuring sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy in occupational screening environments, with independent verification via LC-MS/MS analysis.

Independent penetration testing found no major cybersecurity vulnerabilities, and all review items have been resolved — 100% of medium-risk items remediated, all 19 software bill of materials vulnerabilities cleared.

And ISO 13485:2016 recertification aligns the company's quality management framework with the FDA's newly amended Quality Management System Regulation.

The submission targets codeine detection as the initial indication. Clearance could open the door to U.S. market entry beyond current Forensic Use Only settings — spanning workplace testing, criminal justice, pain management, and substance abuse treatment…

The global dr-ug screening sector is valued at roughly $8.29B in 2026 and projected to reach $25.3B by 2036, according to ResearchAndMarkets. North America leads the sector, and that is where (INBS) is headed next.

The significance of that potential market entry is worth our community pausing on. Right now, the Intelligent Fingerprinting system is commercially deployed outside the U.S. across workplace, law enforcement, and government settings. FDA clearance would give the company access to a market where federal mandates, corporate compliance programs, and a growing substance-abuse concern are all converging.

The Revenue and Margin Story

Inline Image

The fiscal 2026 full-year results show a company that's already generating real commercial traction — not just preparing for a future event.

Total revenue reached $4.2M, a 38% increase year-over-year.

Gross margin expanded to 48.63%, up 778 basis points…

That margin expansion came from the transition to Syrma Johari as a manufacturing partner — expected to deliver annual production cost savings of more than 40% and an expected gross margin improvement of approximately 20 percentage points — combined with an optimized product mix weighted toward higher-margin consumable cartridges.

A strategic partnership with Bouygues UK, part of global construction group Bouygues Construction, adds a significant new customer in a high-profile, safety-critical construction environment — the kind of deployment that demonstrates the system's readiness at enterprise scale.

And there's one more detail worth flagging for our community…

The company is validating a rapid screening cartridge targeting 70% faster results — which could further differentiate the system in field environments where speed matters most.

Harry Simeonidis, President and CEO, noted: "We are now firmly in the final stretch of data analysis and assembly of our FDA 510(k) submission package, and we remain focused on bringing our technology to the U.S. market."

Our community is watching a name where a proprietary, field-ready screening technology is generating compounding commercial traction internationally… while simultaneously approaching the single largest potential catalyst in the company's history — FDA clearance for the U.S. market.

The company's Intelligent Fingerprinting system is already deployed outside the U.S. across workplace, law enforcement, and government settings. What the FDA pathway represents is the chance to bring a proven, commercially validated screening platform into the single largest addressable market in its sector — backed by manufacturing cost savings that could dramatically expand margins and a razor-razorblade model that's already demonstrating accelerating recurring revenue.

With a float under 3M shares, the structure of Intelligent Bio Solutions Inc. (Nasdaq: INBS) is at the very top of our watchlist this morning, Tuesday, September 1, 2026.

Pull up (INBS) while it’s still early.

Sincerely,
