Friends, |
For years, I’ve told you: “Let the game come to you.” |
It’s the philosophy that guided us through the wildest bull runs and the most brutal winters in crypto history. |
But over the past several months, something in this market has changed. |
And it led me to make the drastic decision to quit an important sector of the crypto space… |
For good. |
What does that mean for you? |
How would that change our relationship? |
Well, on Wednesday, November 4, at 8pm ET… |
I am going to answer those questions and give you all the details in a special strategy session I’m calling… |
Big T’s Big Announcement. (Click here to RSVP) |
I’m stepping forward to announce a major decision regarding my future in the crypto market. |
It is going to change the way you look at this entire asset class. |
And more importantly… it could determine whether you make a fortune this November, or get left behind. |
I’m not asking you to agree with my decision right now. |
All I ask is that you show up on Wednesday night with an open mind, hear me out, and judge the facts for yourself. |

The Calm Before the Vote |
This Tuesday, America votes. |
And if you own bitcoin or any other crypto, I want you paying attention to what tends to happen after the votes are counted. |
Bitcoin has repeatedly entered a volatile stretch after midterm elections. |
My research team went back through the last three midterm elections: 2014, 2018 and 2022. |
In the 30 days after those elections, bitcoin’s daily volatility averaged 4.24%. After presidential elections, it averaged just 2.55%. |
Put another way, bitcoin was about two-thirds more volatile after midterm elections. |
I want to be clear about what that number means. |
The election did not necessarily cause those swings. All three midterms also landed around a similar point in bitcoin’s four-year market cycle. |
And each period had its own crypto-specific problems. |
After the 2014 election, bitcoin kept sliding into a January bear-market bottom around the time of the Bitstamp hack. In 2018, the Bitcoin Cash split hit the market. And in 2022, Election Day landed right as FTX was coming apart. |
So I’m not telling you Tuesday’s election will make bitcoin rise or fall. |
I’m telling you that we are moving into a stretch that has repeatedly produced much bigger swings in this market. |
And that matters because of what bitcoin is doing right now. |
On Wednesday, I showed you something unusual happening in bitcoin. |
Its volatility had compressed to one of its tightest readings in two-and-a-half years. On October 19, the Bollinger Bands around bitcoin’s recent trading range were only about 6.5% apart – roughly half their recent median width. |
The last two times bitcoin got squeezed this tightly, the moves that followed were roughly 30% or more. |
One broke lower. The other broke higher. |
So this setup doesn’t tell us which way bitcoin will move. It tells us the market has been bottled up – and that we should be prepared for a much bigger move when it finally breaks out. |
Now add the election calendar. |
Bitcoin’s daily volatility was relatively subdued in the 30 days before each election my team studied. The bigger difference showed up after the vote. |
That’s the setup I care about. |
So, look what we have in front of us. |
Bitcoin is wound tight and the midterms are days away. And after the last three midterm elections, this market got a lot more volatile. |
I don’t know which way the next big move goes. But I do know I don’t want to be figuring it out after the move is already underway. |
Could this year be different? Absolutely. |
Bitcoin is a much more mature asset today. Wall Street owns it through ETFs. Large institutions trade it. The market structure is different than it was in 2014 or even 2022. |
I don’t have a crystal ball, so I can’t tell you where bitcoin is headed next. |
And with only three prior midterm cycles with good bitcoin data, I’m not going to pretend this is some ironclad election rule. |
But it is enough for me to pay attention. |
Because when I see volatility compressed this tightly right before a window that has repeatedly produced bigger swings, I want to be ready before everybody else feels the need to be. |
And this is where Tuesday’s election becomes personal for me. |
Why I’m Rethinking Crypto |
Earlier this week, I told you I had made one of the hardest decisions of my crypto career. |
Today, I can tell you a little more. |
I’m walking away from something I’ve been doing in crypto for years. And I understand why that may sound crazy coming from me. |
I’ve spent more than a decade helping people navigate some of the biggest swings this market has ever seen. |
I was there through the 2018 Crypto Winter, when bitcoin fell more than 80% from its peak. |
I was there in 2021 when China cracked down on bitcoin mining and bitcoin lost roughly 55% from its spring peak. |
I was there when FTX collapsed and bitcoin plunged roughly 24% in two weeks. |
And I was there when bitcoin came roaring back and eventually made new highs. |
After a decade in this market, I’ve learned one thing: the biggest moves rarely arrive when everyone feels comfortable. |
Volatility does not scare me. |
So why would I choose now – with bitcoin wound tight and another potentially volatile stretch directly in front of us – to walk away from something I’ve done for years? |
That’s exactly the question I want you to ask. |
The midterm election did not make this decision for me. But when I look at the market we may be heading into after Tuesday’s vote, I’m more convinced than ever that I made the right choice. |
Over the past several months, I’ve been watching someone new on my team approach this market from a very different angle. |
I brought him in because I wanted another set of eyes on crypto. What I didn’t expect was that watching him work would force me to rethink something I had been doing myself for years. |
The more I watched, the harder it became to ignore what I was seeing. |
So I made my decision. |
And it will change the way you approach crypto from here. |
Hit the Pause Button |
We’re heading into a window where being on the right side of the next move could make you a fortune. |
That’s why, if you are thinking about making a big move in crypto right now, I want you to hit the pause button. |
On Wednesday, November 4, at 8 p.m. Eastern, I’m going to explain what I’m walking away from, why I’m doing it now, and what it means for your money over the weeks ahead. |
I’ll also show you what I have been seeing behind the scenes and why it convinced me this was the right move. |
The special broadcast is called Big T’s Big Announcement, and you can reserve your seat right here. |
If you’ve followed me for years, what I’m about to tell you will surprise you. |
And if you’re new to my work, let me give you a little context first. I’ve spent the past decade helping people navigate some of the biggest booms and busts this market has ever seen. |
I’ve built my career in crypto by staying in the game when things got ugly. That’s why the decision I’m about to share with you is such a big one for me. |
Hear what I have to say Wednesday night. Then decide what makes sense for your money. |
The election is coming. Bitcoin is wound tight. History says the weeks after midterms can get extremely volatile. |
And I’ve made my decision. |
