There's Two Drills Turning And Seven Holes Pending At (Nasdaq: SGLD) In Nevada

October 1st

Dear Reader,

For years, Scorpio Gold Corporation (Nasdaq: SGLD) lived on the TSX Venture Exchange and the OTCQB.

That changed September 1st, when its American Depositary Shares began quoting on the Nasdaq Capital Market under SGLD. The Canadian listing switched to the same symbol, giving the company one identity on both sides of the border.

The structure was deliberate. Each ADS represents 20 common shares, held through BNY. That design let the company meet Nasdaq's requirements without a share consolidation, keeping its existing capital structure intact.

Then came the part that matters most.

One day after the listing, the company reported 3.02 g/t gold over 48.92 metres at Goldwedge, with a 5.24 metre core of 19.29 g/t. Earlier this year, another Goldwedge hole cut 11.84 g/t over 8.39 metres, including 40.15 g/t over 0.88 metres.

Then there's the setting.

At Black Mammoth, drilling returned 2.56 g/t over 13.38 metres within Manhattan Caldera volcanics. The company compares that host to the Round Mountain mine, where broad gold zones sit in volcanic units.

All of it feeds a Phase Two program that has now logged 114 holes and 32,585 metres.

Seven holes were still awaiting assays as of the September 2nd update. That matters, because the company has said it is working toward a larger resource update, and every new intercept adds weight to that model.

For a market that just discovered the ticker, the drill bit is doing the talking.

Behind The Scenes With The CEO

A few weeks after the listing, SGLD CEO Zayn Kalyan took questions in a long-form podcast interview. He kept the focus on the ground, not the ticker.

His message: Manhattan is a district-scale story that is still being mapped.

His pitch was about scale. Manhattan spans roughly 8.5 kilometres of strike, and the team is working a 2 kilometre corridor.

He described a sonic program costing roughly $600K to test old leach pads, waste and stockpiles.

He also pointed to about C$8Mn in the treasury.

"This program is about systematically quantifying this material." - Zayn Kalyan, CEO, September 17th Release

About The Company: Scorpio Gold Corporation

Scorpio Gold is a Nevada gold explorer. It owns 100% of the Manhattan District, a ~4,780-hectare package in the Walker Lane Trend that has produced about 700K ounces since the 1890s. Assets include the Goldwedge Mine and four past-producing pits bought from Kinross in 2021.

There's no production revenue yet. The model is simple: drill, define ounces, and build toward development. A maiden estimate already shows 740K ounces at 1.26 g/t in the inferred category.

The company exited its Mineral Ridge asset in 2025 and raised C$10.8Mn in July at C$0.25 per share. Its Q2 MD&A shows $8.43Mn capitalized at Goldwedge in the first half.

The macro tailwind is real. The World Gold Council reported central banks added 289 tonnes in Q2 2026, up 62% year over year, while mine output grew just 2%.

Steady official buying against slow supply growth keeps the spotlight on new ounces in safe jurisdictions.

Mining The Past For A Second Engine

Most juniors lean on new equity to keep drills turning. Scorpio Gold is testing another route.

The company hired SLR International to design a sonic drilling and metallurgical program across four facilities built during Manhattan's open-pit and heap leach era.

The material is already mined and sitting at surface. About 35 holes will be sampled and tested for grade, sulfur and c-ya-nide response.

The target audience is toll mills within trucking distance.

VP of Exploration Harrison Pokrandt framed it as a test of whether surface material can offer “an alternative through organic growth.”

Strong results would trigger a resource estimate for that material. None of it is a resource yet.

7 Potential Catalysts Behind Our Focus On SGLD

#1. A Nasdaq Listing Put This Nevada Explorer In Front Of New Eyes. The ADS program lets (SGLD) reach U.S. accounts directly, with ADS issuance fees waived through November 25th, 2026.

#2. High-Grade Cores Inside Wide Zones Give The Story Two Angles. The latest Goldwedge hole paired 48.92 metres of 3.02 g/t with a 19.29 g/t core, supporting both scale and grade for (SGLD).

#3. Pending Assays Keep A Steady Flow Of Potential News Ahead. Seven Phase Two holes totaling 1,696 metres were awaiting results at the last update, giving (SGLD) more data still to report.

#4. A Surface Program Could Open A Potential Non-Dilutive Path. If the sonic program confirms grade and recoverability, (SGLD) may gain a toll milling route for material already sitting at surface.

#5. Fresh Capital With No Warrants Attached Funds The Next Push. The July offering raised C$10.8Mn at C$0.25, and management says (SGLD) holds about C$8Mn to keep two drills turning.

#6. A Next-Door Neighbor With More Than 15Mn Ounces Produced. Manhattan sits about 15 kilometres south of Kinross's Round Mountain mine, and (SGLD) controls the full consolidated district beside it.

#7. A Low Share Float Raises The Potential For Heightened Volatility. Yahoo Finance lists a float of roughly 15.93Mn shares for (SGLD), so the potential for heightened volatility may be significant.

Where This Goes Next

Look past the new listing and a clear picture remains.

Scorpio Gold Corporation (Nasdaq: SGLD) controls an entire historic district next door to a world-class mine, with wide gold intercepts, a maiden resource and a funded program.

A resource update, pending assays, and first surface results are all on deck. Each one adds detail to how big Manhattan could become.

We’re kicking-off coverage on Scorpio Gold Corporation (Nasdaq: SGLD).

Be on the lookout for updates coming out soon. Talk again shortly.
