Get Locked In on GRML While It’s Still Early…

August 25, 2026

Dear Reader,

We’re roughly 90 minutes from the bell, and Greenland Mines Ltd (NASDAQ: GRML) is starting the morning with one of the most important Sarfartoq updates in the project’s history.

With work also progressing at Skaergaard, GRML has multiple developments unfolding at once.

At Street Ideas, we are selective about what we put in front of our readers… and the bar is high for a reason.

A name has to show more than just an exciting narrative.

It has to show execution, structural coherence, and timing that aligns with forces larger than any single company.

Greenland Mines Ltd (NASDAQ: GRML) clears that bar right now, and what came across the wire today may have raised it further.

This is a Nasdaq-listed critical metals company with two world-class Greenland resource assets, a corridor strategy linking Arctic mining to allied processing infrastructure in Iceland, rigs actively drilling at one of the world's largest undeveloped precious metals deposits… and as of August 24, a landmark rare earths resource estimate that fundamentally changes the Sarfartoq story.

That is what gets our attention at Street Ideas.

Following a recent restructuring, (NASDAQ: GRML) now has less than 3M shares listed as available to the public — with a float that compact, the potential exists for big moves if demand begins to shift.

Greenland Mines Ltd (NASDAQ: GRML) is topping our watchlist this morning—Tuesday, August 25, 2026.

Here is the case, built layer by layer.

What Today's Sarfartoq Milestone Actually Means

Start with the news that dropped today, because it reshapes the entire rare earths side of the (GRML) platform.

On August 24, Greenland Mines Ltd (NASDAQ: GRML) announced a landmark S-K 1300 Mineral Resource Estimate for its Sarfartoq Nd-Pr rare earths project in southwest Greenland, prepared independently by Tetra Tech and GeoSim with an effective date of July 31, 2026.

For the first time in the project's more than 15-year exploration history, Sarfartoq now carries an Indicated Resource under an SEC-recognized reporting standard.

That is not a minor technical distinction… Indicated classification is the level of geological confidence required to support an Initial Assessment and more advanced studies on the path to production.

It is also the first time Sarfartoq has been assessed under a combined open pit and underground scenario.

The Hybrid estimate delivers an Indicated Mineral Resource of 6.9M tonnes grading 1.60% TREO, alongside an Inferred Mineral Resource of 5.3M tonnes grading 0.96% TREO.

Here is the number that matters most for our readers…

The neodymium and praseodymium oxide already identified within this resource — approximately 40,700 tons contained across the Indicated and Inferred categories combined — is equivalent to roughly five years of all NdPr oxide refined outside China in 2025.

Very few rare earth resources anywhere in the Western world can make that claim.

The mineralogy reinforces the quality of the deposit.

Sarfartoq hosts conventional, well-understood rare earth minerals — bastnäsite, monazite, synchysite — the same mineral families already processed at commercial-scale facilities elsewhere in the world… meaning no novel or unproven processing technology is required.

And the ST1 zone where today's resource was estimated occupies less than 1% of the 191-square-kilometer license, with five additional known occurrences that remain largely untested.

That is the kind of upside optionality Street Ideas looks for.

Neo Performance Materials, as part of the previously announced definitive agreement, retains offtake rights on up to 60% of future Sarfartoq ore or mineral concentrate production… directly bridging a Greenlandic source of Nd-Pr feedstock to Neo's midstream and downstream rare earth separation and magnet platform.

That is structural leverage built into the deal.

"Sarfartoq has the potential to change the Western rare earths landscape for the magnet metals the world's electric vehicle, wind and defense industries need most," said Bo Møller Stensgaard, President of Greenland Mines Ltd (NASDAQ: GRML).

The Skaergaard Campaign Reinforces the Execution Story

The second upstream anchor is Skaergaard, and the field program underway there right now adds another layer of substance.

Greenland Mines Ltd (NASDAQ: GRML) just completed its 2026 bathymetric survey campaign at the Skaergaard project in southeast Greenland, covering more area than originally planned and producing high-resolution seabed data across the fjords surrounding the deposit.

The company has completed all HQ-diameter drill core required for its planned multiton metallurgical bulk sample and has transitioned to NQ-size core drilling for resource definition and geotechnical work through the remainder of the season.

A new core shack is operational on site, the Sodalen airstrip has been confirmed in excellent condition, and drone-based LiDAR survey work has been completed.

The support vessel Argus deployed from Reykjavik carrying drill rigs, geophysical equipment, drone survey systems, bulk-sampling machinery, and exploration infrastructure… and an initial field team of more than 40 technical experts, drillers, and logistics personnel is now executing the most comprehensive Arctic campaign the company has ever run.

The company also recently reported a 31% increase in its indicated palladium equivalent resource at Skaergaard ahead of this field season.

Skaergaard ranks among the world's largest undeveloped palladium, gold, and platinum deposits, and (GRML) holds an 80% interest — with an option to acquire the remaining 20% — in the three Mineral Exploration Licenses covering the project and adjacent areas.

That is a resource of genuine global significance, actively being drilled and sampled right now.

Why the Macro Picture Aligns With This Name

At Street Ideas, we pay close attention to whether the macro environment supports a company's forward path… and in this case, the alignment is difficult to overstate.

Automotive applications account for roughly 80% to 85% of total global palladium demand, and the dominant supplier remains Russia.

The Center for Strategic and International Studies notes that Greenland ranks eighth in the world for rare earth reserves with 1.5M tons, and that U.S. policymakers have been actively working to counter Chinese influence in the region.

The same CSIS report warns that Greenland's own government has signaled that without Western capital, the island may have to turn to other partners — including China — to develop its mineral resources.

That geopolitical context gives (GRML) a dimension that extends well beyond what the balance sheet alone can capture.

The company is building what it calls a North Atlantic Critical Metals Corridor… a development-stage strategy linking upstream Greenland resource assets with midstream processing at the Helguvik industrial complex on Iceland's Reykjanes Peninsula — a brownfield site with deep-water port access and renewable grid power roughly 400 km by sea from Skaergaard.

Upstream mining in Greenland, midstream processing in Iceland, both within NATO-aligned jurisdictions.

That is corridor architecture with real infrastructure behind it.

On the governance front, the board adopted a limited-duration rights plan on July 22, 2026, designed to protect against coercive accumulation below fair value, triggering at 15% ownership and counting synthetic derivative positions toward the threshold.

Dr. Joseph Sinkule, Chairman and CEO, stated that the plan safeguards the ability of all holders to receive appropriate value and ensures the board has adequate time to evaluate any proposal.

When a board reaches for that tool, it is making a statement about how it views its own assets relative to where the market sits.

The company also maintains a second operating division through Klotho's KLTO-202, a clinical-stage program with a primary indication for ALS… adding a biotech dimension to (GRML) that carries its own distinct forward-looking profile.

8 Reasons Street Ideas Has GRML in Focus This Morning—Tuesday, August 25, 2026…

1. Compact Float: Following a recent restructuring, less than 3M shares are listed as available in the public float — with a float that small, the potential exists for big moves if demand begins to shift.

2. Landmark Sarfartoq Resource: Today's independently prepared S-K 1300 Mineral Resource Estimate delivers Sarfartoq's first-ever Indicated Resource and first combined open pit/underground scenario — with approximately 40,700 tons of NdPr oxide identified, equivalent to roughly five years of all NdPr oxide refined outside China in 2025.

3. Skaergaard's Global Scale: This is one of the world's largest undeveloped palladium, gold, and platinum deposits, and Greenland Mines Ltd (NASDAQ: GRML) holds an 80% interest with an option on the remaining 20%.

4. 31% Palladium Upgrade: A 31% increase in indicated palladium equivalent resource confirmed ahead of the 2026 field season gives the deposit additional technical substance and forward momentum.

5. Biggest Field Season Yet: More than 40 experts, three drill rigs, bulk sampling, and environmental baseline studies are all underway in the company's most comprehensive Arctic campaign to date.

6. Neo Offtake Bridge: Through its definitive agreement, Neo Performance Materials retains offtake rights on up to 60% of future Sarfartoq production — connecting a Greenlandic rare earths source directly to an established downstream magnet platform.

7. Corridor Infrastructure: A First Right of Refusal on the Helguvik industrial complex in Iceland gives the corridor strategy a tangible midstream anchor with deep-water port access and renewable power.

8. Board Value Signal: The rights plan effective July 22, 2026, signals that the board views the current share level as below fair value for the underlying asset base.
