Pull Up GRML While It’s Still Early…

August 25, 2026

Dear Reader,

With the opening bell now about 90 minutes away, Greenland Mines Ltd (NASDAQ: GRML) is back in focus after a fresh resource milestone at Sarfartoq and continued field activity at Skaergaard.

Add in a reported public float below 3M shares, and GRML is one name worth having on the screen before today’s session gets underway.

The scramble for critical metals is no longer a side story.

It has become one of the defining themes of this decade, and the companies doing the actual ground-level work to secure Western-aligned supply chains deserve a closer look.

That brings us to Greenland Mines Ltd (NASDAQ: GRML), a Nasdaq-listed company running what may be the most ambitious field program in the Arctic right now… and doing it at the exact moment geopolitical forces are pushing Western nations to find alternatives to Russian and Chinese mineral dominance.

The timing here is hard to ignore.

According to the Center for Strategic and International Studies, Greenland ranks eighth in the world for rare earth reserves with 1.5M tons.

The same CSIS report underscores the urgency of the moment, noting that the U.S. has been actively working to counter China's hold on global rare earth resources, while Greenland's minister of business and mineral resources has warned that without Western capital, the island may have to turn to other partners… including China.

That is the backdrop against which GRML is operating.

Greenland sits at the crossroads of great-power competition over critical minerals, and GRML has planted its flag in the middle of it.

The operational progress coming out of Skaergaard right now is worth digging into.

The operational progress coming out of Skaergaard right now is worth digging into.

Greenland Mines Ltd (NASDAQ: GRML) is topping our watchlist this morning—Tuesday, August 25, 2026.

Following a recent restructuring, GRML now has less than 3M shares listed as available to the public—with a float that small, the potential exists for big moves if demand begins to shift.

What's Happening at Skaergaard Right Now

Greenland Mines Ltd (NASDAQ: GRML) just completed the 2026 bathymetric survey campaign at its Skaergaard project in southeast Greenland, covering more area than originally planned and producing high-resolution seabed data across the fjords surrounding the deposit.

That survey data is already being used to guide the company support vessel to a new anchorage within 500 meters of the initial 2026 operational area and is expected to support new official navigational charts, a dedicated navigational safety study, and planning for future large-scale marine shipping operations.

But the drilling is the headline.

The company has completed all HQ-diameter drill core required for its planned multiton metallurgical bulk sample and has transitioned to NQ-size core drilling for resource definition and geotechnical work through the remainder of the season.

A new core shack for logging, sampling, and storage is fully operational on site.

This is not a company sketching out plans on a whiteboard…

This is rigs turning, core coming out of the ground, and a team of more than 40 technical experts, drillers, and logistics personnel executing a full field season designed to push Skaergaard toward its next development phase.

The support vessel Argus sailed out of Reykjavik loaded with drill rigs, geophysical equipment, drone survey systems, bulk-sampling machinery, fuel, and other exploration infrastructure.

Equipment, machinery, materials, and local onshore infrastructure were successfully slung from Argus to shore, and safety drills and inductions were completed across all parts of the operation before work began.

Drone-based LiDAR survey work has already been completed, and the areas planned for blasting and bulk sampling later in the season have been outlined.

Approximately one-third of the season's planned drill locations have been identified and marked in the field, with the remainder to follow as the program progresses.

The Sodalen airstrip has been assessed and confirmed in excellent condition, providing efficient crew mobilization by fixed-wing aircraft and an important safety component.

"Arriving safely at Skaergaard and getting rigs turning is a defining moment for this season, and for the project," said Dr. Bo Moller Stensgaard, President of Greenland Mines Ltd (NASDAQ: GRML).

That quote captures the tone of what is happening on the ground.

A company that has been building toward this moment is now executing at full speed.

The North Atlantic Critical Metals Corridor

The broader vision behind GRML extends well past a single mine site.

Greenland Mines Ltd (NASDAQ: GRML) is building what it calls a North Atlantic Critical Metals Corridor… a development-stage strategy linking upstream Greenland resource assets with processing, logistics, offtake, and end markets across allied Western jurisdictions.

Inline Image

That corridor concept starts at Skaergaard, one of the world's largest undeveloped palladium, gold, and platinum deposits, hosted in the Triple Group of the Skaergaard layered mafic igneous intrusion… a 56-year-old geological formation roughly 400 km west of Iceland.

The company holds an 80% interest in — with an option to acquire the remaining 20% of — the three Mineral Exploration Licenses covering the project and adjacent areas.

Then there is Sarfartoq… and what just happened there today changes the calculus entirely.

On August 24, Greenland Mines Ltd (NASDAQ: GRML) announced a landmark S-K 1300 Mineral Resource Estimate for its Sarfartoq Nd-Pr rare earths project in southwest Greenland, prepared independently by Tetra Tech and GeoSim with an effective date of July 31, 2026.

For the first time in the project's more than 15-year exploration history, Sarfartoq now carries an Indicated Resource under an SEC-recognized reporting standard… a critical de-risking milestone.

It is also the first time Sarfartoq has been assessed under a combined open pit and underground scenario.

The Hybrid estimate delivers an Indicated Mineral Resource of 6.9M tonnes grading 1.60% TREO, alongside an Inferred Mineral Resource of 5.3M tonnes grading 0.96% TREO.

The neodymium and praseodymium oxide already identified within this resource — approximately 40,700 tons contained across the Indicated and Inferred categories combined — is equivalent to roughly five years of all NdPr oxide refined outside China in 2025.

Very few rare earth resources anywhere in the Western world can make that claim.

And the mineralogy matters just as much as the scale…

Sarfartoq hosts conventional, well-understood rare earth minerals — bastnäsite, monazite, synchysite — the same mineral families already processed at commercial-scale facilities elsewhere in the world, meaning no novel or unproven processing technology is required.

The ST1 zone where today's resource was estimated occupies less than 1% of the 191-square-kilometer license, with five additional known occurrences that remain largely untested.

Neo Performance Materials, as part of the previously announced definitive agreement, retains offtake rights on up to 60% of future Sarfartoq ore or mineral concentrate production… directly bridging a Greenlandic source of Nd-Pr feedstock to Neo's midstream and downstream rare earth separation and magnet platform.

Neodymium and praseodymium are the magnet metals at the heart of EV motors, wind turbines, and defense systems.

They sit at the center of a global scramble to build supply chains outside of Chinese control.

"Sarfartoq has the potential to change the Western rare earths landscape for the magnet metals the world's electric vehicle, wind and defense industries urgently need," said Bo Møller Stensgaard, President of Greenland Mines Ltd (NASDAQ: GRML).

And the downstream piece matters just as much.

The company holds a First Right of Refusal on the Helguvik industrial complex on Iceland's Reykjanes Peninsula, a brownfield site with existing industrial infrastructure, deep-water port access, and low-cost renewable grid power… located roughly 400 km by sea from Skaergaard.

That is a midstream processing footprint linked directly to the resource base, in a NATO-aligned jurisdiction, powered by renewable energy.

The pieces fit together in a way that goes beyond typical exploration-stage companies.

When you connect a world-class upstream deposit to an existing midstream processing site with port access and clean power, and do it within allied jurisdictions… that is a corridor strategy with tangible infrastructure behind it.

Why the Palladium Supply Picture Reinforces This Name

Palladium supply tells its own story right now.

Automotive applications account for roughly 80% to 85% of total global palladium demand, and the dominant supplier is Russia.

That combination of concentrated supply, geopolitical risk, and persistent demand from the automotive sector creates a clear rationale for Western nations to secure alternative sources of palladium.

And GRML just reported a 31% increase in its indicated palladium equivalent resource at Skaergaard.

That resource upgrade came just ahead of what the company has called its biggest field season yet… suggesting this is a story with forward momentum, not a static data point.

For anyone following the Western supply chain narrative, GRML represents exactly the kind of development-stage asset that could matter down the road.

Add the limited-duration rights plan the board adopted on July 22, 2026 — designed to protect against coercive accumulation below fair value — and the signal from management is clear: they believe the company's assets are worth more than what the current share value reflects.

The plan triggers if a person or group acquires 15% or more of outstanding shares, and it notably counts synthetic derivative positions toward that threshold, closing a common accumulation loophole.

Dr. Joseph Sinkule, Chairman and CEO, commented that the rights plan safeguards the ability of all holders to receive appropriate value and ensures the board has adequate time to evaluate any proposal in a thoughtful and orderly manner.

The company also maintains a second operating division through Klotho's KLTO-202, a clinical-stage program with a primary indication for ALS, adding a biotech dimension to the GRML profile that carries its own forward-looking trajectory.

That multi-asset structure — precious metals, rare earths, and a clinical-stage biotech program inside one Nasdaq company— is unusual, and arguably difficult for the market to fully appreciate at this stage.

7 Reasons Why We’re Watching GRML This Morning

— Tuesday, August 25, 2026…

1. Tight Float: following a recent restructuring, GRML was reported with fewer than 3M shares available to the public, giving the company an unusually limited public share supply.

2. Fresh Resource: on August 24, GRML announced an S-K 1300 Mineral Resource Estimate at Sarfartoq showing 6.9M tonnes grading 1.60% TREO in the Indicated category and 5.3M tonnes grading 0.96% TREO in the Inferred category.

3. NdPr Scale: the Sarfartoq resource held by GRML contains approximately 40,700 tons of NdPr oxide across the Indicated and Inferred categories, equivalent to roughly five years of all NdPr oxide refined outside China in 2025.

4. Active Drilling: at Skaergaard, GRML has completed the HQ-diameter core needed for its planned multiton metallurgical bulk sample and transitioned to NQ-size drilling for resource definition and geotechnical work.

5. Resource Expansion: at Skaergaard, GRML recently reported a 31% increase in its indicated palladium-equivalent resource ahead of what the company has described as its biggest field season yet.

6. Strategic Offtake: through its previously announced agreement with Neo Performance Materials, GRML has a connection to offtake rights covering up to 60% of future Sarfartoq ore or mineral concentrate production.

7. Western Corridor: beyond its Greenland resource assets, GRML is developing a North Atlantic Critical Metals Corridor strategy linking upstream resources with processing, logistics, offtake, and end markets across allied Western jurisdictions.

When the data, the geopolitical context, and the on-the-ground execution line up like this for GRML, the result is a profile that deserves attention.

The critical metals space is no longer a niche conversation.

It is a matter of national security, industrial policy, and supply chain resilience for Western nations.

Greenland Mines Ltd (NASDAQ: GRML) sits at the intersection of those forces, with boots on the ground in Greenland, rigs turning at one of the world's largest undeveloped precious metals deposits, and a corridor strategy designed to connect Arctic resources with allied markets.

That is a combination worth watching closely. We have all eyes on GRML this morning, Tuesday, August 25, 20226.

Sincerely,
